An expert in CRM, Customer Experience and open innovation, specializing in differentiating brands across multiple channels, his career spans many industries including media, entertainment and marketing services. He has held several executive positions, including CEO of Ogilvy Group in Portugal, Chief Strategy Officer of GLD holding (financial services, retail, pharmaceutical and wine production) and partner at BIBA Venture Partners, an innovation boutique based in Barcelona.
He has a degree in Marketing, a master’s in management from Universidade Católica, a Strategic Marketing Program from Ross Business School, University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from AESE | IESE, where he is a lecturer and an award-winning case writer.
An expert in Retailing, Advertising, Digital Communications and e-Commerce, Jorge is now a senior consultant at Essency.
As a seasoned executive, Jorge has been a Director of several companies in the Retailing business, Discount, Hiper &Supermarkets, food and non-food. More recently he was involved on setting-up a full online store for the Design and Furniture Business at International level. Jorge completed the PADE at AESE Business School.

Magdalena is a communication expert and an entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in creating, managing and facilitating development projects. She founded her first business – a PR Agency in 2007 and successfully implemented more than 30 PR and lobbying campaigns, including the oneenforcing a ban on smoking in public places in Poland.
Currently, she oversees Story Seekers Poland, a consulting and training company powered by Mike Bosworth Leadership™. Magdalena is a part of a global team of coaches and consultants who help managers and business owners in B2B industries communicate, influence and sell more effectively. For the last 8 years, she has conducted more than 150 training and development projects and workshops for organizations located in the USA, Singapore, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Norway, Armenia and Poland.

An expert in Business Strategy and Implementation, Brands, Customer Experience design, Ramiro, is the founder of Essency - and, before that, of Smith+Co (Iberia).
As a seasoned executive, Ramiro has been the CEO of several companies in the Insurance, Healthcare, Retail and Publishing sectors during his 30+ year career. All of them eventually became market leaders.
As a Professor, he's been lecturing Strategic Marketing, CX, Branding and Marketing Forecasting methodologies at AESE Business School for over 20 years and at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. He is regularly invited to speak at Dubai Business Schools.
As a Citizen, among other things, Ramiro is a Steward for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican.
This is my tribute to Prof. José Santos, a brilliant person no matter in what perspective we think of him. He is brilliant as an academic and a thinker as he was as manager. As a teacher he is the best I ever had. Complex topics become crystal clear by his words. He has the talent to identify what is relevant on decision making and focus on what matters the most.
This is a personal tribute to one of the greatest entrepreneurs and managers of the 20th century, Belmiro de Azevedo. I learned so much with him during the 10 years I worked for SONAE that I still feel in a debt of gratitude for the un-official Management Degree I took on SONAE.
